How to build multisite bridge (6 sites)

Hello,

We are on a 6 site interconnection project.
So there are 6 3CXs that we want to connect to each other.

What are the best practices for the interconnections of bridges between sites?

-> 1st solution:

Bridges:
Site 1 master - Site 2 Slave
Site 2 master - Site 3 Slave
Site 3 master - Site 4 Slave
Site 4 master - Site 5 Slave
Site 5 master - Site 6 Slave
Site 6 master - Site 1 Slave

-> 2nd solution:

Bridges:
Each site is connected to all the others and master or slave does not matter as long as they are in communication.

Technically, it really does not matter which end is the master, and which the slave. Your particular firewall setup, or other network configuration, may dictate otherwise.

You will need to configure 1 master bridge per site on each slaves and connected them as a mesh.

It will depend on the number of licenses, and traffic flow, as to whether you do have some calls tandem through the "main" PBX, or you send all calls direct, from one PBX to the other. Your extension numbering scheme, at each PBX may also play a role.

The extension numbering scheme, at each PBX will be:

Site 1: 1xx
Site 2: 2xx
Site 3: 3xx
Site 4: 4xx
Site 5: 5xx
Site 6: 6xx

And each site will have its own sip trunk for external calls

You have the advantage of being able to design from scratch. Others have not been lucky enough to have that flexibility. It should make your job a lot easier than having to deal with choices made before it was decided to "bridge all of the PBX's together".

If I understood correctly it will give that

You could do this but I would be a bit overkill in managing it after.
If there is an office which is the "HQ" then I would connect this to all satellites office.
From each satellite then 2 connections to another one to have a star + circle for building redundancy.
