Hi I'M from Canada (Quebec) Somebody tell me if you have any experience with an installation of IP SIP doorphone with 3Cx in the cloud ? We have to install one soon and we don't have any experience with this installation. What product do you recommand ? Do we need any IP/analog gateway for installation. Thank you.

If you plan on using a VoIP product that is not supported by 3CX (auto-provisioning), then you will have to manually provision it. A number of devices have been mentioned in the Forum in the past, and someone may offer suggestions as to which one is proven to work. The alternative is to use an analogue device behind an ATA. Again, you may have to provision it manually, but, familiarity with the door unit itself, and cost might be a facrtor to consider.

CyberData has doorphones. Grandstream has their GDS series that can be provisioned in 3CX using Grandstream-provided templates.

You don't need a gateway unless you use analog devices. However, I recommend you setup a VPN from the office to the cloud instance to manage devices as local. Some devices cannot work over STUN or SBC.

we support many Fanvil devices for your door...

I set up a Fanvil I18S inhouse to our cloud PBX and tested before we put it in production to an onsite PBX. It worked.
