Hi All,
We have an existing 3CX system that handles our internal and external calls as well as an existing Microsoft 365 account which would be great to link as we rely heavily on the two.

However, as far as i am aware, this should only be done on new 3CX systems with no existing extensions otherwise it will cause a palaver.

Has anyone got round this? Really love 3CX and plan on reselling it but want to make sure i am as experience with our internal system first as well business want different things.

TIA.

Jack.

Yes you can. Just make sure every O365 user you enable (you can manually select) has an extension with the same email. If so, it won't recreate or duplicate. It will simply update that extension on sync.

Ah I see. So as long as the user/contact details are the same, it just links them. Are the numbers set to their internal extensions?

The sync is only from O365 to 3CX, not the other way around.

I see, thank you. I'll give it a go.

Thank you again.

Ive found that linking 365 to an existing 365 will create new users in 3CX when doing the user sync. I've had to delete the ones it makes.
