Hello, can someone help us please?. I opened the administrator-Q in the 3CX client and I´m able to see the queue but when I right click the call it does not show the listen in or whisper feature?. haven´t found any information on how to enable or get to it...

Thanks in advance.

I dont have my PBX at hand but i think you need to enable those options for your extension under the Right Tab .

Thank you AGidi. I was able to enable the feature in the properties of my extension (intended to be an Admin extension). Now I dont know how to listen in in the 3CX admin windows (windows client).

You got me there. I only use the web client.
I click on the ongoing call number

Do you have the Pro or Ent version? Can't do Barge In/Listen In/Whisper with standard.

We always use PRO. I hate not having the options enabled.

Thank you guys. I have the PRO version. I was expecting the option to show after some kind of right over the ongoing call on the queue lists but all I get is a Close a queue session for that extension I´m clicking on. Its hard to believe that such an basic feature turns to be so complicated hehehe.

Sorry it shows the menu in spanish but like I said before all it gives me after right clicking on it is that option whish in english means something like "close queue session"

This is how I set the extension so I believe I have it set correctly to allow it for the "listen in" feature.

perhaps reprovision your softphone?

Thank you Craig. I just did that, even uninstalled/reinstalled the windows client and also tried through the web console. I am getting to the point of considering restarting the 3CX server and see if that reflects any changes. Can you please confirm if that option (listen in) should appear when right clicking over the ongoing call in the admin vie of the queues?

Thanks.

Hello @cloudccenterabc

The issue i see from the attached screenshots is that you cannot see the active call in the Queue manager. You can see that the agent is on the call with someone but you cannot see the actual call on the main section of the Queue manager. That could mean that your extensions are on different groups and the the groups do not share presence. You need to be able to see the active call to have the option to Barge in / Listen

FIXED.

Thank you YiannisH 3CX. I realized that I was set to a group called "default". I mean I was under a different group, thus had no control over those extensions, so even though my extension under the extension right tab settings had set the privileges enabled I was never going to be able to do so because of that. So I accessed the group button in the left panel and there I added my extension in the group that that the extensions I was trying to "listen in" were.

Thank you all. I hope this information helps someone in the future. :)
