Just a simple and quick question, is there a way to switch off the making of log files or to change the settings so that for example the log files are not loged locally but just send bij email to a email adres of a log server.
The reason for asking this is that iam building a unit for this phone software that will not make use of the standard harddisks but wil use 4Gig CF cards.
And together with a passief cooling the unit will be soundless and wil not use a muths power when its useing active cooling and standard harddisk.
But the problem with useing CF cards instaed of harddisk is that if there is a constant writing to the CF cards (log files and so on) it will shorten the live spand of the CF cards.
So it wil be nice if there is a way to switch of the making of the log files or just not to make and safe the logfiles local but to send them by email to for example to a log server or just the email adres of the one that controlles the server park.

You have a lot of options to set up logging system.
Look at 3CXPhoneSystem.ini file in Bin folder.
For each service of the system you will find section like [<module>\Logger\Outputs\]. If you remove all keys from that section you will have NO logs at all for that service. Or, you can fiddle with settings of each log file by changing MaxFileSizeKB and KeepBackup key values. Set them as appropriate. Also, changing Level and Severity keys allows you to keep logs small.
Note, that change of logging level from interface could discard all your manual settings, so be careful.

Thanks, will give it a go, this fiddleing thing
But a extra option in the software, where you tell that all the logfiles have to go out by a email say ones every 2 or 4 hour is a better option.
Thanks wil come back on this supject.
