Good Morning everyone!
We are currently using v16 and want to do the upgrade to v18. Before doing so I did some testing and can't seem to find any option to log on to the 3CX Desktop Client other than "Provisioning from the Web Client". Am I missing anything?
With v16 we use a GPO, which adds the Web Client to our Users Desktops, imitating an App. The plan was for us to upgrade to v18, deploy the Desktop Client via GPO and remove the Web Client. Ideally we would like our Users to use just the Desktop Client, without having to access the Web version. Any way to realize this? Is it possible to let the Client login without them having to intervene (eg. by using O365 credentials)?
I can't believe that this is the way every other company uses the Desktop Client. Our IT will get overrun with Calls and Tickets because of Users not knowing how to access their Phone-Client. Of course the credentials are saved after provisioning once, but we use a large amount of virtual machines, which are being refreshed on a regular basis. Therefore we are searching for a mostly automated solution.
Thanks in advance, best Regards!
