Hi,

We overwrote the email template "Extension Welcome".
Now we would like to add the webclient password of the extension to the email. But we don't know the variable for this.

What's the variable of the webclient password?

Thanks
Joël

Hello @joelwkr

The variable for the webclient password is %%SERVICES_ACCESS_PASSWORD%%
For your reference, find below the original html code of the template regarding the webclient.

HTML:
 <p style="font-size:15px;"><strong>Using the 3CX webclient</strong></p>
        <p>With 3CX webclient you don’t need to install any software. To access it</p>
        <ol type="List">
          <li>%%IF_TWO_LINKS_START%%Go to %%WEBCLIENTURL%% if in the office or <br>%%WEBCLIENTURLPUBLIC%% when out of the office%%IF_TWO_LINKS_END%%%%IF_ONE_LINK_START%%Go to %%WEBCLIENTURL%%%%IF_ONE_LINK_END%%</li>
          <li>Login using %%EXTNUMBER%%</li>
          <li>With password %%SERVICES_ACCESS_PASSWORD%%</li>
        </ol>
        <p>Using the <a href="https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/3cx-click-to-call/ingddacbmngapennhhfhnpjnaklakach" target="_blank">Chrome Plugin </a> you can call numbers directly from any webpage or CRM.</p>

There are many new email variables in v15. Are you likely to update this outdated page https://www.3cx.com/docs/variables-email-templates/ any time soon?

I raised this as a support request in October 2017 and the latest update is that it's still with developers awaiting update. Surely the documentation needs updating alongside the product.

Four months and counting ......
