Migrate premise to hosted question and v20

Are new instances of hosted now v20?
Can an existing v18 premise system be migrated directly to a new hosted v20 system?

And just to make sure I am clear, if they are on v18 now, self-managed and decide to migrate to 3CX hosted, the v18 system can be migrated to either another v18 or a v20 without previously being updated.

Yes, you should be able to do it from the portal. Now if the backup is V20, you won't be able to restore to V18, as it's only upwards compatible. V18 backup can be restored on V20, but it must be V18 update 9 backup (system owner user must be tested too).
Just ensure that your backup has a license and FQDN in it.
Additionally, familiarise yourself with the limitations that 3CX hosted has, for storage etc

Do you know how long the option to move a premise v18 system to a 3CX hosted v18 instance will be available? We are planning a system move and they would prefer to stay on v18 for now and upgrade soon to v20, but not during the migration.

It was mentioned here on Migration deadlines for 3CX hosted, however can not confirm how long that option will be there or disabled in advance.
