3CX v15.5.15502.6
A couple questions came up during a recent installation and provisioning of an iOS via the welcome message.
What prevents the user from forwarding the welcome message to the user's spouse and the spouse install/provision their phone?
Where to look in 3CX to determine if multiple installs has happened?

How to allow a mobile client user to make calls anytime when connected to LAN (inside firewall), but limit calls to office hours when connected outside the firewall?

Thank you,

Hi @jakthree

What prevents the user to give his own mobile device to his spouse to make any calls she wants? What prevents me from sharing my email passwords etc.

The thing is if the user is not trustworthy they can abuse their service anyway, that's why we have security measures in what outgoing calls can be made (restriction by country, number length, ext etc). In V16 you also have the option to disable outgoing trunk calls after business hours under General Settings.

Best practices can minimize the chance of fraud, with that in mind, even if someone tries to do more than they should, the system can prevent them from making calls to unauthorized destinations, but within a reasonable margin so that the system doesn't become locked down to the point of being unusable
