Outbound Caller ID Name / Number

Hello,

I would like to know how do I configure an custom Outbound Caller ID Name and Number.
My provider allows me to use a custom caller id name when I place outgoing calls, and also, allows to specify outbound numbers.

I though the options can be configured into the SIP Trunk into my trunk account. But quite complicated.
In example : "CompagnyName" <##########>

It can depend on where your provider takes the information (what field). I have also seen the name , used in the extension device (set) being sent. If you provide the providers name, someone else may have had experience with them in setting this up.

The provider should also tell you what field they want you to send the custom IDs.

You should then make the appropriate changes in your trunk's outbound rules as mentioned above.
