Solved Outbound route CID overrides extension CID

Hello,
We are running 3cx v16.0.8.9 Professional Annual, and i noticed that the "Outbound Caller ID" configured in an outbound route, always overrides the Extensions Outbound Caller ID.
I tried going in the SIP trunk - - > Outbound parameters and messing with the From Header's User part, but without success.

In Elastix, there used to be a tick box / setting for Outbound Routes' caller ID with the name "Override Extension". If that box was ticked, then the outbound route's CID was overriding the extension's CID.

So, in 3cx is it true that the Outbound Route's CID always overrides the extension's CID, or am I missing a setting?

That is correct, in 3CX, what generally applies is:


• The Extension Caller ID overrides the SIP Trunk Caller ID
• The Outbound Rule Caller ID overrides the Extension Caller ID.

You would have to simply remove the Outbound Rule Caller ID to allow the Caller ID on the extension level to apply.
