I have a paging group that includes multiple 3CX softphone extensions. When a page is made to the group, does every extension in the paging group need to successfully answer the page for it to work?

For example, if there are 10 extensions in the paging group and only 9 of the 10 softphones answer, will the page still go through to those 9 extensions, or will the entire page fail because one extension did not answer?

How does that work if there is a mix of softphones and desk phones?

Calling a paging ring group will cause all members of the ring group to auto-answer the call, but this does not apply to softphones. Only IP Phones can auto-answer a page.

If you have 10 users in the ring group and only 3 of them, for example, have an IP Phone, those 3 members will auto-answer the call, and the rest of them who use softphones will receive a normal call, and they need to answer the call manually.
