Hi all, I've looked through a few of these threads but the responses weren't helping me, so I'm going to try to make my own.

I recently bought five of these exact phones off of Amazon to upgrade my very old phone system. We had telephone line ran, but we decided to go with VOIP instead for our upgrade. The rest of the upgrade has went swimmingly, but we want to have a Yealink T19P E2 at my boss' house for outside of business hours, in case we receive any urgent calls. We unboxed the phone, took the MAC Address, assigned it to his extension, turned on "Direct SIP - STUN Remote" and unchecked "Disallow use of extension outside the LAN". We plugged in the phone at his house and all it says is "No Service" at the top where it should say "XX First Last". I don't know what to do, can you all please help me? Thank you all so much.

No, the others were configured Plug n' Play in the office. By trying somewhere else, do you mean like a different location than the boss' house? No I haven't, but I could try.

So the PBX is on-prem in the office? Does the firewall check pass? Yes I would try the phone somewhere else to rule out issues with the firewall at boss's house.

There is my Firewall Check. I don't know what that means, I am completely new to 3cx. All ports failed, it said "full cone test failed" on all the ports for 3cx Media Server

If it's only the media ports that are failing then that shouldn't affect registration or provisioning. I'd double check your port forwarding, and if it's a smart firewall, dumb it down. It could be looking at the firewall check as some sort of port scan or attack and then blocking.

How to configure your Firewall Router in 3CX Phone System

Configuring a phone, even if supported, via STUN, requires the router / firewall to be configured both at the site where the 3CX Phone System is running and in the remote office. See here:

https://www.3cx.com/3cxacademy/videos/intermediate/configuring-remote-extensions/

https://www.3cx.com/3cxacademy/videos/intermediate/configuring-remote-extensions/stun-configuration/

Furthermore, the phone calls are neither encrypted nor secure.

Isn't it easier and safer to use the 3CX APP on Android / IOS?

Hi @braythor

Firstly, you have to start from here and ensure you follow every step, don't skip on anything.
https://www.3cx.com/sip-phones/yealink-t1-series/

You should end up with a factory reset phone running FW 53.84.0.95, and asking for a Username and Password when you boot it up at your boss' house

If this has not happened, then your have not provisioned it correctly yet and would explain the "no service" notification.
