Hi All,

We are currently using EPOS Adapt 160T/165T headsets connected to Windows laptops using USB-C. However we are receiving a number of reports that at times, the softphone app loses connection with the headset with the result that no audio communications are possible, the user cannot take incoming calls and the app goes into non-responsive mode. When this occurs, Teams also loses communications with the USB headset and crashes too. After rebooting the device, the USB headset does not get recognized immediately, and needs to be unplugged and plugged again to be detected again. When checking the Windows device manager, we had scenarios where the headset disappears and other scenarios where the device reports Unknown USB Device (Device Descriptor Request Failed).

The Windows versions in use are either Windows 11 24H2 or Windows 11 23H2. 3CX Server Version is V20 Update 5.

EPOS Headset firmware is updated to the latest - 8.41.38.0

Any ideas what could be causing this?

Thanks in advance!
