Record calls to a specific number

Does 3CX currently have the ability to record all calls to a specific external number?
For example, any call to an emergency number - 999, can have the option to be recorded, regardless of which extension rang the number?

The options are per extension, not per destination.

So you can enable the 3rd option at the very least, and it will record all external calls.

Thank you for your reply.

This is a bit frustrating as its hardly ever the same extension calling the number we wish to record.
Could this be a potential request to implement into 3CX, as I think the recording of calls to an emergency number, for example, is important? (at least to us).

In this case you the only option is to enable recording on all extensions for external calls to ensure those calls get recorded since there is no option for specific destinations.

If someone posts this in the ideas section it can be voted by all forum members, but you need Gold Partner level and above to be able to post. You can search the ideas section anyway in case someone already posted this.

This can be done with the 3CX Call Control API. You would need a service that monitors calls to emergency numbers and when detected, use the API to initiate the recording automatically. We do this with our 3CX Emergency Notifier tool. Obviously it does a lot more than just record the call, including sending notifications by phone, email, SMS, and desktop popup. It also provides panic buttons you can assign to a BLF, and much more.
