We've been working on this for a while now and I am curious how some of you are handling things......
Another phone system I work with allows you to set up a call to an extension or ring group whenever 911 is dialed. This, however, isn't allowed in 3CX. We only get the option to use an email address and this simply won't work, especially since that email address (or distribution group) will get hundreds of emails related to other alerts and may desensitize those recipients rendering the important "911 has been dialed" alert email useless.
In saying this, when you have multiple sites stretched across several states and some sites don't have a manned "front desk" per se, how are some of you handling this without VoIP Tools?
(Please note, this isn't a dig at using VoIP Tools.)
Thanks and have a great weekend!
