Restricting access to one user in 3CX

Good day,

We are looking to deploy 3CX to a user affiliated with the company. Is there a way to only restrict that user to only call one number inside our company(it this case it would be the receptionist) and also bar them from making external calls. Their access should only be to the receptionist.

Hi @jevon_davis

You cannot restrict internal calls, but you can restrict the extension from making external calls.

Just go to the extension's options tab and click Disable External Calls.

Do you just need a phone that will autodial the receptionist when you pick up the handset?

Hi John, keep in mind it’s a soft phone. Looking to put it on their windows computer. I do not want to give them the option to call any other extension within the company. Basically we can call them but they can only call our admin assistant and no other extensions or external calls
