Sending link in a chat

Hallo, a chat operator can send find of some kind.
I would like to send also URL Link.
Link should be very useful to point the customer to online things such:
- documents
- streams
- application
Actually sometime the link is sent as pure text, so the customer has to copy / paste in a browser url, which is not the best for some users. Where are the limits ?

Do you mean when you paste a website like for example https://www.3cx.com to automatically convert into a clickable link?

Yes, pasting https://www.3cx.com you get a clickable link. Right.
But pasting a link with other registered protocol I get no clickable link.
Just for example
magnet:?xt=urn:btih:4b13244559282f9650a382f70506dc4c516215e2&tr=http%3A%2F%2Facademictorrents.com%2Fannounce.php&tr=udp%3A%2F%2F
where magnet: is a regularly registered application protocol at my customer site
(torrent link is just for an example, I have others )
