Snom D7XX ringtone issues

I have a few clients using Snom's D735 and D785. All on 3CX cloud instances. It seems like changing the ringtone in the default template on every extension does no good. I change the ringtone from ring 1 to ring 6, but when provisioning the change doesn't take place. You have to manually change ringtone on each desk phone, but of course it changes back if phone reboots. What's going on with the default Snom D7XX 3CX templates, that it doesn't keep the changes for ringtone? Ring 1 is pretty annoying and users are starting to get annoyed.

Have you looked in the generated provisioning file to confirm the changes are there? Downloaded a config from a manually changed phone to compare?

@cobaltit I will try looking into that, will have to find sometime after hours since it's a remote site that I don't often visit.

Default supported 3CX template used (snom.ph.xml).
When selecting Timezone, Time and Date format, and Ringtones the phone will take changes on the first 3 parameters, but not the ringtones.

Don't know if you are aware of this but:

- The phone's ringtone will change depending on where the call came from (internal extension, external line, queue, ring group). So test these scenarios and figure out how the phone is supposed to behave before you conclude that the ringtone hasn't changed. Maybe it has, but not for the scenario you expected

- If in doubt check the phone UI to see your changes taking place, 3 different alerts get configured (or more depending on setup and model)
