SPA 3102 Help!!!!

Can I send you my 3CX setup for comparison to yours? If I replicate your SPA setup with no change then I presume difference is in 3CX. I hope....

Since I never did anything with packets I am reluctant to add another learning curve. This SPA is consuming way more time than I can easily afford.

Hi Cjay, just booted an email back to you at same address you sent config files from. Just as an add on, my PSTN line shows nothing for outbound calls regardless if I dial 8, wait then dial rest, or dial all at once (which fails).

Hi Cjay, at long last it was successful! Thank you very much for the assistance! And thank you to everyone that tried. In the end the final change was in 3CX as supplied by Cjay.

Lines Manage / Click Gateway Name / Registration Settings / Select : Use registration's 'Contact' field host/port instead host/port specified in configuration.

Then on "Location of Destination Number" Tab make sure "'Request-Line-URI' field" is also checked. That was what made the difference for me.

The actual SPA setup remains pretty much as 3CX describes in the support section. After the many many hours I, and many others, devoted to this - if anyone needs copies of the various setup screens, especially if you are in North America, just PM me and I will provide.

Well there you have it.

If you go a few posts back where I listed what the responsibility was of each component, you will see that you guys might bark up the wrong tree :-).

Good luck.

3102

still not working for me. Must be a o instead of 0

3102

tried checking 'Request-Line-URI' field just get busy signal

Phone registered to the 3CX server ? Yes?

Busy signal ---> codec on phone correct one?

Can you make exension to extension call? If not phone is not configured correctly.

Most likely not a SPA issue but phone versus 3cx config issue.

Hello jschleider,
Please make sure that your Line 1 authorized on 3cx.
See on logs such message for correct outgoing calls from your regular phone:
ServRegs::onAdd [CM111111] Registered: Ext.xxx
where "xxx" - your Linksys 3102 extension.

Settings: http: //www.3cx.com/voip-gateways/linksys-3102/ - NO LONGER AVAILABLE

thanks but I dont think thats it. I receive a pstn dial to its just not passing the digits. I can even dial after I receive the dial tone.

Look, error can be anywhere. Can you please show your logs on place while you do unfortunelly tries.

And it can be exactly this reason, because you get incoming calls via PSTN and call via Line 1. If your settings for Line 1 is wrong, it can be.

that is from an ip phone to the spa out to the pstn and i get a pstn dial tone

Can you please clear log window and show me log while your linksys SPA-3102 rebooting. I want make sure that Line 1 registered correctly.

Second reason can be in dialplan for Line 1. So let's analyze at first this.

ok give me a minute

'Request-Line-URI' field in your PSTN options must be checked. I don't know exactly why. But if it didn't checked, then my number not dial, but give just tone of my local phone.

If 'Request-Line-URI' field checked, then phone dial full number automatically.

In my configuration port for PSTN is 5061, port for LINE 1 is 5060.

Just I yesterday experience the same troubles as you, but today I set correct options and everything works fine.

no log when i reboot spa

if i check that button then i get a busy signal

spa reboot
