SPA3000 PSTN HookFlash

Hi,

We have installed SPA3000 as FXO in our company for some tests. We have connected a Panasonic PBX analogue line to the FXO port and we have configured the PSTN settings of SPA3000 to connect to a Proxy Server. We have also installed some Planet IP Phones to have IP Extensions registered to the Proxy Server.



Now we want to transfer the received call from PSTN to another PSTN line. To do this Panasonic only allows Hook Flash to hold first call during conversation. After Hook Flash we should dial our destination extension.



The problem is we can not find any option or feature to let us force FXO port to do a Hook Flash on PSTN line to let us send DTMF for destination number.



Would you please help us how we can do it?

Just to clear a few things up. This is a 3cx forum, we are a good bunch of guys and girls but in the end it is a 3cx forum.

So your panasonic PBX might not get the responses you want, as most likely not many of us know the product.

Re SPA3000 it is pretty much the same as the SPA3102 but it does not have a router. Again we not really supporting the SPA 3000 or SPA 3102 by it's self, but more in a combination with 3CX IP PBX software.

Also give it time for people to respond, your FIRST and SECOND post are only one hrs appart at a time most of us are asleep or do not feel like working , so relax.......

That discussion might give you some pointers.

Keep in mind, PSTN to PSTN transfer via SPA3000 might not work as you only have one FXO and it only deals with one PSTN call at the time.

Having a analog Panasonix PBX after a SPA might not be the way to go, the SPA is an ATA and you are MUCH better of to have a 3CX box hanging of it. I am getting very comfertable with the 3cx now and will start pushing the product.
