Transfer call between your own numbers (e.G. Desk and DECT Phone)

Hello,

our users have a desk phone and a DECT Phone (both SIP standard) using one Extension.
Also, it is configured as busy on busy, so other callers get a busy tone, when one of the phones is busy.

How can you transfer a call from your desk phone to your dect phone?
If you call your own number, you get a busy tone.

You have to have it set to allow more than one call to the extension number. Probably not the setting you want to change, from the sounds of it.

You could make the DECT set a different extension number, then put both into a ring group. Both would ring on an incoming call, but it would still allow a transfer from one to the other. Not ideal, and can open up some other issues, but might work for you.

You are right, thats not what I want.

As both phones are on the same extension - can you not put the call on hold and pick it up on the other phone (all depends on the model of phones)

You can park the call and then pick it up on the other phone.
