Update Failing (SaltStack issue?)

We've got a few instances that won't update with the below logs, all running on Debian and deployed using the PBX Express tool. Trying to get the latest update rollup...

I tried this method and now I cannot log on to the console. I get the message 'Server Error'. Too many issue with 3CX lately, not good. I am just about to migrate pbxes away from Elastix.

Oh just found out the server is broken and no pbx available. . Time for a restore!

@imagehq what method exactly, only ran this one command as root? Did you save the output to see if it ran successfully?

wget -O - https://downloads.3cx.com/downloads/misc/debianpatches/9/16/0/5/20200619-os-update.sh | bash

The services will need to restart in some cases, so if you log in before that you will get a server error

SSH to your server as root run this command

nano /etc/apt/sources.list.d

or as a user run this command

sudo nano /etc/apt/sources.list.d

I have a small appliance as a 3cx instance and can log in to the terminal via 3cx dashboard.
What do I type in the command?
I coppied and pasted the command suggested here but it says comand not found.

Hi @gluetome

The terminal from the dashboard is only for very basic stuff and does not allow you to run elevated commands, you need to connect to your machine via SSH.

I found one of my VMs was not up to date and this was the cause. I took the route of deleting the line from the file per NSBR's post. Is that likely to cause issues in future? Any clues what caused this problem in the first place?
