Upgrading google VM

Hi, we have a customer that wants to expand their PBX system considerably to the point that they would need to have a more powerful VM hosting the PBX, as of now the client VM is in Google Cloud, does 3CX has any documentation about what is the correct procedure to upgrade VM instances? should it just be a reinstall in the upgraded VM and restore a full backup?

I've been looking into the documentation from 3CX itself but I have not been able to find anything

If you are expanding the VM that would be a GCP thing, not 3CX thing. If you want to install on a brand new instance then it's simple backup, shutdown VM, install on new VM, restore. If all good destroy old VM.
