V16: Linux OS Upgrade from Debian 9 to Debian 10 is now Available

All our systems run on Debian, installed using the 3cx iso.
Is using apt-get update / upgrade an option?
I think I may know. Can you log into your 3CX Debian machine to confirm and run this command?
Bash:
lsb_release -a
If it tells you that you are on Debian 10 Buster, most likely you installed your V16 using a "Technical Preview" ISO we had released a year and half ago, that allowed you to install V16 on Deb10.

In this case, that's why you wouldn't get the "OS Upgrade" button as you are already on Deb10. Now the V18 Update button does not show because it assumes that whoever is on V16 is on Deb9, so it doesn't show.

Long story short, if you are on V16 running on Deb10, you need to:
  1. Take a backup and download it to your local machine
  2. Shutdown the "old" machine and create a new one using the V18 ISO. This can be downloaded from your Customer Portal.
  3. When prompted, restore your V16 backup
