Where are v18 Templates stored?

Regarding your question please note that direct access to templates is not possible with 3cx hosted instances.

Does that mean I am unable to creat a custom template?

Yes this is the case. Custom templates are not supported, and in hosted instances can not be used. Why exactly do you need a custom template?

For the LINKVIL W611W (unsupported).
Someone has created a custom template for it.
There was reference to using the FANVIL X5U-v2 template, which does work.
I have tested this after my post.

I have found that the W611W works fine inside my network, but in testing, apparently can not find the local SBC from an external network.
The SBC issue is what I am trying to resolve now.

Phones and the 3CX SBC are meant to be local to each other so no 3CX template will support what you are trying to do unless by external network you mean a separate network connected via VPN to the network where the SBC resides.

I thought there was a way to have a remote, off premis, phone be able to access the 3CX network

The SBC is installed on the network with the remote phone. Alternatively a router phone can be used which acts as an SBC, for itself and/or other phones.

Thank you

It works using STUN

I am not running to V20. Seems somethings are missing, like ability to select custom extension numbers.
I would guess that if I was running V20 the phone could be provisioned locally, and then brought to the field.

Router phones are portable because they are their own SBC.
