Hello everyone and TIA!

This is my first post. Been working with 3CX for year and love it. I just performed an upgrade for a customer with a slightly unique setup. I read through all the docs and was aware of the permission changes and all that and i can say that the shared parking is working however, in a weird way. They are running Cisco 509G's. They use the 4 buttons at the bottom as "Lines 1 though 4". When the receptionist gets a call, she will park them by pressing the BLF key and then press the BLF Page key. All of that works perfect. Now, here is where the weird issues start. Say the call that was placed on SP1 hits its timeout and rings back to the phone. The phone will ring however, it shows the original caller IF and the BLF key for SP1 does not blink (Stays sold red) so there is no real way to differentiate it being a call that was on hold, or a new call. The other issue is say that the person who was paged to pick the call up presses the SP1 BLF key, the caller ID on the phone only says SP1 and not the actual caller ID information. I have tried alot of workarounds to see if i could maybe get something rigged to get it working but nothing that i have tried (Changing settings in the phone, etc) will get it to work. Right now, i have been bouncing back and fourth between asterik and RFC on the attendant console on the admin page of the cisco phone but no luck there either.

Since these are VM's with direct SIP, i can spin down V20 and spin V18 back up and the phones act perfectly normal without issue as they had before. I'm not sure of there was something changed in the way V20 handles call parking, call ring backs and CID Forwarding but I'm at a loss. And yes, i understand that i will be attacked for using Cisco SPA509G's and not upgrading to something from this century but the customer will not upgrade. They love these phones far to much and no matter how many demos of the new options that are out there, they like the good old fashion durable cisco phones. Thanks everyone and hope everyone is having a great weekend!
