Very long delay in playing Prompts

Hi,

I have a simply schema. I direct call to Digital Receptionist, I hear announcement. I interrupt the announcement by selecting e.g. 1
The call is redirected to next prompt (Digital Receptionist)
My issue is that, I hear very long delay between 1st and 2nd prompts (~3 secunds)

Is there a way I can bring down this delay?

It's probably waiting for additional digits in the event someone is dialling a full extension number.

If your extensions begin with 1, try not using option 1.
We have a couple in play but have not experienced this. We also do not use 1 as an option, which our extensions begin with. Haven't tested otherwise - it was just like this before we installed 3cx, so we kept it the same.
