Hi,
I've configured my extensions' voicemail to be emailed to the users email.
I get strange subject as following
New Voicemail from DID_NUMBER-

For example
New Voicemail from 1702xxxyyyy-
1702xxxyyyy is my DID

I checked the voicemail email template which is as following
<subject>New Voicemail from %%CALLER%% - %%CALLERNAME%%</subject>

I want it to be the number the call came from.

Can anybody help me with this?
Thanks in advance

Have you checked your call logs/activity logs to make sure that's not how the call is coming in? If your DID is being placed into the caller field, 3CX is just going to make the substitution as instructed.

Yes, I've checked the call logs and it shows the DID in the From Column,
"If your DID is being placed into the caller field"
It might have been done.

Can you please tell me where can I find it? and what changes shall I make to get the Callers number or CNAM?
Thanks

I assume you are not using a 3CX certified provider, so you'll have to adjust the trunk settings to 'look' for the caller ID information in whatever fields your provider is sending it.

Apparently I solved it.
