Hello ,

I use flowroute as a SIP carrier, with IP Authentication.
When I make an outgoing call, I need to prepend a tech prefix.
In the cell phone client, it's fine because whatever my end user dial is what they see.
In the web client through, it shows the prefix I prepend. <- How to I prevent this ?

Thank you

Hello @jst07719

Are you stripping the prefix in your outbound rules or you are sending it to your provider?

I am not stripping anything. With Flowroute, if you do IP Authentication based outgoing call, you need to add your tech prefix (bunch of digits), then a star, then the number dialed.

For example, if someone dials 18001234567 , you would have to send 098765*18001234567 to flowroute.

In this example, the web client shows 098765*18001234567 , while on a cell phone client it only shows 18001234567

Basically, I don't want the prefix to show up on the web client.

Please note that currently you cannot do this as the web client gets its call history from the PBX and the PBX logs what was eventually dialled. I would recommend posting your idea on https://www.3cx.com/community/forums/3cx-ideas/ . All posts are reviewed by their corresponding Departments and, if feasible and voted for by other users as well, may be implemented in an upcoming service pack or update.

Will do, thank you.
