We have an office with 3 Yealink T41S phones.

When someone is on a call, and they answer a second incoming call, the "Hold" softkey disappears and is replaced by "Swap". So they are not sure how to place the second caller on Hold. This happens if they take the second call by pressing the second line key directly, or by pressing "Hold" first and then the second line key. In either case, when they are active on the second call, the "Hold" button turns into "Swap".

We are running the latest firmware version and 3CX version. I would really appreciate it if anyone has any insight into why this is happening or if there is a setting we could enable/disable to get the Hold button on the second call. Thanks!

Hi,

This is part of the way the Yealink interface works, but you can try the following which should allow you to hold the 2nd call:

- On the 2nd call, try pressing "Transfer" and then "Cancel"
- When "Transfer" is pressed the active call is automatically forced to go on hold
- Pressing "Cancel" will cancel the transfer attempt, while keeping the 2nd call on hold
- You can use the up/down arrows to manage the 2 calls independently
