I have searched all over and have seen the CEO responding they are keeping an eye con this but somehow got dissuaded because the client needs to pay $ and the connection closes after 24 hours.

I do not see this as a downside. What i see as a downside is losing sales to other unified communication options that do integrate FB Messenger Telegram, Whatsapp , email and voice.
We had to hire one of those services. It integrates seamlessly with our CRM and it creates tickets on vtiger for every entry we get on those mediums. I really hate paying for it because we should have been able to do it, but our product (3CX) lacks some integration. The provider asked us to open an account with twilio i think , and drop like $10usd there. Then some codes were exchanged between the tech people and it is working. ( i lack the tech details)

Yes we cannot start the messaging call, but we don't need to, clients usually contact us first, if the chat closes we call them. simple.
But a fact is, that we have lost some 3XC sales do to regional preferences for Whatsapp and Telegram vs Facebook Messenger.

please see this topic 3CX, we really need to have them all.
keep up the great work.

If my memory serves: WhatsApp, Apple iMessage for Business and Google My Business Messaging are in the work, or at least planned.

As for losing sales, it's not 3CX's fault. Do you blame Cisco when you lose a sale of one of those? Or Yeastar, or whatever else? Or just 3CX? (I always see people blaming the company for losing sales when they are not the one making the sale pitch...)

@NickD_3CX

I'm not blaming 3cx for us losing a sale, but it is a fact that some 3CX sales fall because of its lack of chat integration, we sometimes close the sale with another solution, sometimes not. That's how we came upon 3CX, because the solution we were using was lacking some stuff 3CX had. We like 3CX, it is simple. I like that they listen to the customers and update quickly that is a plus. I just don't want them to fall behind because one integration might not be important to some clients. Some countries are heavy on Wechat or Telegram vs FB or Whatsapp or even Signal. I'm just trying to keep my favorite voip solution current.
