3CX SBC Notification – Issue Fixed

In the last 24 hours, 3CX SBC clients configured to use encryption could not connect to 3CX Servers.

New versions have been updated that correct the problem. Proceed to download windows, raspberry pi and Debian SBC versions from the links provided below.

Windows SBC Users:

  1. Download the updated 3CX SBC setup from here http://downloads-global.3cx.com/downloads/3CXSBC15.msi and follow the installation instructions.
  2. Encryption can be turned on.
  3. After installation is complete, reboot all phones in the SBC network for immediate registration or wait for approx 10 min and the phones will reregister automatically.

Debian or Raspberry Pi Users:

ssh to the RPI or Debian instance and enter the following commands:

‘sudo apt-get update’
‘sudo apt-get install 3cxsbc’

Reboot all phones for immediate registration or wait for approx 10 min. The phones after that time your remote office will come back up.
