3CX perpetual licenses become EOL from version 20.
The new version of 3CX will no longer be sold on a perpetual license basis. In preparation for this we will no longer be selling maintenance - effective today 26th July 2023. As you’ll recall, maintenance was linked to a perpetual license. Over time, however, it’s become clear that this is a very old fashioned way to sell products. Fast forward to today - with changes in the IT & Security environment so rapid - maintenance and perpetual licences are no longer relevant in the world we live in right now!
Can I Stay On V18 Perpetual Mode Until My Maintenance Expires?
If 3CX annual subscription isn't the right fit for you, we're happy to offer you a refund for the remainder of your perpetual maintenance. This will give you time to find another PBX solution. Please note that choosing this option would mean 3CX won't be available to you in the future, as your account will be placed on a blacklist. As of Version 20 - 3CX will no longer support perpetual keys.
Do I have to do something?
No, your perpetual key will be automatically converted to an annual subscription license.
