Hi all,

First of all, please take it easy on me, as i am new here and sure new to 3CX etc. :)
Also i would like to apologize in advance for posting this in 3CX forum, which probably is not the correct place to post, but could not post this to Bitrix24, and thought maybe a kind person in here could help somehow.

Ok, so our company is quite small with up to a max of three users on Bitrix24 (most often my self or two total users).
So, just because of that, we use the free version of Bitrix24 for small businesses. (we started using it for the past 3-4 months, as up to now all was done on papers and excel and invoicing software etc causing a mess and wasting time)

Now, we are in the process of investing to 3CX, which will replace our PBX and will also add some nice futures that will get us up to speed with the today's demands and technology.
As far as i understood from the relevant person who is going to setup everything for us on 3CX, we need the PRO version of 3CX. Which is ok, and we already accepted the charges etc etc.

My question now is, can we integrate the current free account we use on Bitrix24 to the new 3CX system once its ready?
Or will we need a paid version of Bitrix24?

Thanks in advance.

Can not answer your question about Bitrix24 free version but do you have the same options available which are in the paid version

Info on setting Bitrix crm - https://www.3cx.com/docs/bitrix24-crm-integration/

Hi Saqqara, thanks for the reply.

Yes from what i can see from here: https://www.bitrix24.com/prices/
We have most functionality as the "PLUS" version. At least for now we cover all the needs we have. If in future we grow bigger and need more functionality, yes we will upgrade to the relevant option.
But for now the free version does us just fine, functionality wise.

If no one knows or tried before, i guess my only option would figure it out once our SIP trunks are set and the 3CX is set to an on premise new micro server. I guess this should take us about 2 weeks to get done.

Either way if no one knows a definite answer prior to everything being set here, i will let you know the outcome.

In order to use the integration you need to use the RestAPI. From that pricing comparison page, I can see that the free edition doesn't support the RestAPI, so you will not be able to do the integration...

RestAPI works with free version

This is confusing.

Bitrix24 lists two APIs in the pricing where one is supported through the free cloud version.
One of them is "REST API" , where the second one is named "RESTAPI".
Note the spacing between "REST" and "API".

I do not know what a REST API means. From the little i read on https://www.bitrix24.com/apps/dev.php , which is the page it takes you if you press the "Rest API" option (with the space, which says is supported), i can only guess its something like a source code which will allow you to crate your own app/plugin to work with what you at hand. So basically i am guessing this is not a ready made, stable plugin for 3CX but more or less the code to create your own integration??!!

Don't get me wrong, we will either way find out once 3CX etc are set and i will report back, but still having questions and feeling mostly uncertain for the outcome just drives me crazy. I would still give it a go even if i was 100% sure it would fail, but i have no idea at this point.

The one that applies is the one that is available in the Free edition, sorry about the misunderstanding. So the integration should work with the free edition as well.
