Need some assistance here, all other Blogs that I was able to find was based on the old Management Portal. I'm trying to setup a Caller ID incoming rule to a particular Department that if the caller calls in it will ring on particular extensions within that department.... And then If neither one of those extensions answer after so many rings it goes to a particular voice mail for that particular caller ID or Caller IDs. Now I know first it would be a ring group that I would have to establish... So my issue is (1) how to I setup a caller ID rule for a particular Department as the Caller ID rules that I see is company wide and not to a particular Department, (2) can voice mail be setup for a particular ring group. I only see voice mails for a particular user and not for ring groups. Thank you

Hi,

You can assign a DID directly to a Ring Group or Call Queue and within them you have the option to send to Voicemail that belongs to the Ring Group / Call Queue.

But how do a set the caller ID rule for 1 particular department and not systemwide. I currently have 3 departments and want the caller ID incoming rule only in 1 out of the 3 departments

If the DID is assigned to the Ring Group, the department is not really relevant.
