Hi,
I love 3cx but need vad (one of the 2%).
V.14 you mention as being supported, but your support don't exactly agree, and the licensing activation system also doesn't help.
Not having vad for 2 versions (15 & 15.5/16) i.e. 2 years is a pain. To be honest it's not specifically vad we need but more flexibility with the auto-attendant (call triggers recording/message that pages via pagerduty and raises ticket in autotask outside standard hours).

We use our system as a demo and also want it hosted in Google compute...

So as one of the 2% - keep up the good work, but don't forget us...

We have just checked a linux client that was installed fresh this weekend and it's showing 15.5 ?? Any reason why it has pulled a beta copy down onto this live client and will we be able to upgrade it to the final release without a reinstall again please?

Hello,

i've some problems after upgrading from Alpha to Beta.. - If i use the Presence screen, right clicking on my conversation with a customer, normally i have the option: Transfer - I use this method, to "keep" the customer until i send it. instead of setting it on hold, while i look for an empty collegue.

After upgrading, when i right click the conversation, 3cx freezes.. (not windows not responding), just 3cx ignoring, everything i click on.. even the timestamp freezes for like 30 seconds, then i right click again, and it works without problems... FYI the transferring works perfectly if i use the softphone "transfer" button. - this issue only accour to some of us..

Both the windows server and our client PCs, are not even close to hit CPU / RAM (like 30%). Everything else than 3cx works while 3cx freezes.. Anything you've heard from others?

Is anyone having problems updating to latest beta build? I am on 15.5.715.6 and I have an update to 15.5.1136.6 available. When I select download and accept the next "This is a beta....." screen, I am logged out and about 15 seconds later I receive an email that the system has successfully updated. Of course in that time it has not updated and the update is still there waiting to be installed.

Activity and event logs show no errors.

We just updated right now and the updates take some time to propagate against worldwide services.

If you are running on linux run this command

sed -i "s;flock -n /usr/sbin/3CXServicePackUpdate sh -c '.*';sudo -n /usr/sbin/3CXServicePackUpdate \"\$@\";g" /usr/sbin/3CXServicePackUpdate

Then go back to updates and perform the update again.

If windows wait a bit..

There was a change back in V15 SP2 with wav file formats. If you have upgraded from anything pre this time, you need to convert your files. The link is here. http://www.3cx.com/blog/docs/sp2-convert-wav-files/

Fanvil phones aren't doing so well. I am not sure if this is a Fanvil, or 3CX issue. On the previous version (< 2.0.3.3000) the phones were fine. The issue on the older firmware of the phones not registering after a reboot is fixable with one line in the profile template.

Since the phones upgraded to 2.0.3.3334, they constantly, about every 5 minutes, popup with "upgrade finished". This is very frustrating as the phone wakes up and lights come on bright. Not sure if it affects calls, but it is horrible to have on the desk like this.

Also, the Fanvil now lists as an available CTI handset in the web client but when you call someone, the phone just rings and shows "Makecall", which is a level down from the direct dial capability off the 3CX phone app. It seems like the uCSTA is not working properly on the handset.

1. "Update finished" message.
This is the new feature added by Fanvil and they are updating the Phonebook every 5 mins.
In the new template of RC 1 we disable this. Update to RC, Update phone to latest supported firmware, re-provision with new template and problem will go away.

2. shows "Make Call"
I think you updated the phone with an old template, so the phone is still using the old settings where uaCSTA was disabled simply because the phone was not yet ready for csta.
Simple Re-provision should fix this issue.
