I currently have a problem with extension group pickup. I have taken everyone out of the default group and created 2 groups, for example. The theory being that group 1 can pick up all calls in group 1 using *20* or the pickup BLF they all have on their Yealink T41S handsets only in group 1 regardless of whether its an internal or external call to an extension in that group. In my testing, I cannot get this to work.
My testing has involved calling from one extension to another within group 1 and using another phone in group one to pick up- I set the default user all the rights for the group. At the moment all I get is when trying to pick up within either group is '*20 not found.'
I have ticked 'Limit Call Pickup to calls received in their extension group' with no luck.
The ideal situation is that I have a group 0 with members of group 1 and 2 together so they can all see each other's presence but NOT pick up the calls from group to group, as they are in seperate buildings and will only do it by accident.
Can I have any help/insight on this? Has anybody got a similar setup with call groups in separate offices?
Thanks in advance.
