Is LiveChat GDPR compliance in EU?

Does 3CX LiveChat comply with GDPR data protection regulations in practice within EU, especially considering the Danish national Cookies regulation which equates data in Local Storage to Cookies?

Unlike Cookies, there is no expiration on the data stored in Local Storage. Is there any documentation regarding the GDPR compliance?

In relation to the Danish cookies ordinance, the problem consists in the data that is saved in the browser under Local Storage, and that these do not expire automatically. Therefore, 3CX LiveChat cannot be legally used in Denmark.
