Phones ring on external calls but they don't ring on internal calls

Hello, i have an installation using version 16.0.619.
3cx is installed on cloud server, and we use 5 IP-Phones, the models are (GXP 2170, 3xGXP 1630, GXP 1760)
I use Direct STUN and i have different SIP Port and RTP Ports range on each device.
When i have an incoming call it rings fine, but when it comes for internal calls things are completely different.
The call is made, you can talk to each other but the phones are not ringing.
Any ideas?

Have you setup port forwarding on the firewall protecting the phones,

You need to port forward the correct SIP / RTP ports to the correct phone IP address. Give the phones fixed IP's (can be DHCP) and set this up.

Another option as you have 5 phones, install a SBC server

It sounds to me that the set is, perhaps, optioned to use of two different ringtones, one for each type of call. The one for internal calls happens to be silent. On an incoming , internal call, is there a visual indication of the call?

When you receive an external call it rings as it should.
when u call the same extension from your another extension it doesnt ring. but if you take the call you can talk to each other fine.

As Leejor suggested , have you checked in extensions if you use two different ringtones ,internal one turned to silent for example?

You didn't answer my second question...is there a visual indication (flashing key?), that the set is ringing, on an internal call?

Then I have to assume that it is an issue, with the particular ring tone, that the set has been programmed to use, for internal calls. By default, this does not seem to be a problem. was the set template modified?

Hi Arte,

The phones are provisioned by default to have a different ringtone for internal calls vs external calls.

A good starting point would be to factory reset 1 device and reprovision it using our default provided templates (ie. don't use a custom template).

As soon as it comes back online, call it from another extension and you should hear it ring.
