If we forward a mobile number to our voip provider the originally dialed number appears in the SIP communication according to our voip provider. So we should be able to route those forwarded calls based on the originally dialed number.

I just can't figure out how do to this in 3CX. Is this kind of routing not supported in 3CX?

So to confirm, you want to manipulate an outbound rule in 3CX to route via a number that has been forwarded from a user within the 3CX system ?

Call flow: Mobile caller >> 3CX Agent >> outbound route to SIP trunk.

I only ask as there lots of similar requests for such features on here, most in regards to caller ID spoofing however:

This is the most similar that I can find, not exactly but it does contain some suggestions:

You seem to be asking, to be able to route a call based on caller ID (or is it the DID number?), I don't recall ever coming across an option like that in any system. Please provide an example.

What I want to do is:

1. On a couple of mobile phones activate call forwarding at certain times. Forward them to a voip number.
2. On the voip PBX find out the originally called number (=the mobile number) and based on that route it differently.

This way we can have one voip number for all mobile phones to forward their calls to and handle it differently depending on which mobile number was initially called.

So...you mean activate the call forwarding option from the mobile provider on the mobile phone? To what VoIP number, one assigned to a trunk on 3CX? If this is the case, then in most cases, the originators caller ID would be passed to the "VoIP trunk", not the mobiles number doing the forwarding.

2. On the voip PBX find out the originally called number (=the mobile number) and based on that route it differently.

If you are talking about routing (forwarding) based on sent caller ID, then it can be done in an extensions options. But, you could only forward using the mobiles number if the call came direct from the mobile, not a number forwarded by the mobile. As I said, in most cases (and you'd have to discus this with the mobile provider), the originators number will be passed on, not the mobile doing the forwarding.

So the easy way is just to buy another DID. Most providers charge around $1/month. Otherwise you'd need to work with your provider for a second trunk. You can then tell 3CX to read that field as the DID field and then base your inbound rule off that.

As i understand this the mobile number that was originally called is part of the Invite message to the PBX. To get this to work you will need to know in what SIP field the number is presented and get the trunk to read this SIP field. If that is possible you could then route the numbers based on that. Of course you might need an additional trunk so you do not change the settings of the original trunk and break routing.
