Important! Some EOL IP Phones need to be reconfigured​

Some End of Life (EOL) Fanvil, Yealink and Snom phones can no longer be provisioned securely via 3CX and need to be manually reconfigured. Fanvil and Yealink phones will continue to work even when rebooted, however using the last known configuration file, without receiving further updates. Snom too will continue to work but you will get an error message when powering the phone off and back on. To change the configuration of an existing EOL phone, follow our guides to provision manually:

• Fanvil EOL series: C400, C600, iW30
• Yealink EOL series: T29G, T41P, T42G, T46G, T48G, W52P (DECT), W56P (DECT)
• Snom EOL series: 320,370, 821, PA1, M700 (DECT)

You are using an older EOL model. This phone cannot provision on the latest 3CX system because it is not compatible with the security settings 3CX has. We no longer provide the ability for this model to work via STUN.

We have good news in this regard. After discussing with Yealink, yealink have decided to update the firmware of these phones T29G, T46G, T48G. We have not tested yet but if all goes well then these phones will work with update 5 and beyond.

Nick, that's truly great news! Thank you. We have so many T29G and T46G in the wild, though we've standardized on T46U and newer hardware for new/current installations.
