Using all router phones.

I am doing a 70 ext install I just won. Is there any reason not to use all router phones without any phones tethered to them? Would having 70 SBC's showing up under trunks be an issue? If not it seems like a no-brainer.

Then I would not have to worry about 9 phones stopping working if someone unplugged their phone which happened to be a router phone(SBC).

I did a 5 phone job last week with one router phone. The customer already unplugged the main phone causing all phones to stop working.

I haven't done that many but there's no issue doing so.

I've used all router phones with 100 phones and no issues. T54w

You should not have an issue doing so. Each phone can run its own SBC no problem.
