What VOIP provider are you using - poll

In the UK we are using voiptalk.org
 
Using BrainTel (not working)

I am using http://braintel.net.pk/

And it is not working. I need help to configuring BrainTel with 3CX. It successfully registers, but i can not make out going calls. It failed with 603 Declined.

The provider is using Asterisk PBX at their end and here is a working configuration with asterisk.

Outbound Caller ID: 210XXXX

Trunk Name: Brain

Based upon above I made the following changes to Gateway / Provider Outbound Parameters section and defined custom values:

To : Host Part = chat.brain.net.pk
From : Host Part = chat.brain.net.pk:8891

If I am missing anything?

I suspect that the issue is with To and From fileds where it is also including 8891 as the port, which might not be required.

I am using vonage and have been happy with it for the most part.

We use Binary Telecom (http://www.binarytelecom.com). Works well and easy to work with.

wich are de si servers from this provider???

sorry i have them:
SIP port : 5060
Registrar : sip.VoipCheap.com
Proxy server : sip.VoipCheap.com
Outbound proxy server : leave empty
Account name : your VoipCheap username
Password : your VoipCheap password
Display name/number : your VoipCheap username or voipnumber
Stunserver (option) : stun.VoipCheap.com
 
We tested with ICall -- http://www.iburst.co.za in South Africa and it works with the "Generic Voip Provider" template
 
I am using SIPGate with no real problems

Sipdiscount.com ? Help !!!! Settings ?

Can someone tell me what the settings are for sipdiscount.com ? It works with my ata box. But with the same settings no luck with 3CX. Did connect
an other voip provider, and it did work. So its not my router or firewall... Who can help me :roll: :cry:

i suppose that you are asking about this settings:

SIP port : 5060
Registrar : sip.sipdiscount.com
Proxy server : sip.sipdiscount.com
Outbound proxy server : leave empty
Account name : your SipDiscount username
Password : your SipDiscount password
Display name/number : your sipusername or sipnumber
Stunserver (option) : stun.sipdiscount.com
 
In the Manual at page 38

4. Enter the Voip line number that has been assigned to !????

I only have a username and password. If i use the username in this field,
I get an error Identification is invalid ? If i just put a number random no
error but de line goes not up ? Anny clu ? With other VOIP service i have a number and then it seems to work.
But Sipdiscount has no numbers only username and password ??? :roll: :roll:

Do i need to install the new version ??

if you have only a sip account you may use an random number. Ex: i use for a sip account without VoIP in the next one: 010101010101. en it's working.

I'm currently using :-

* VoIPtalk (uk)
* The Tech Guy (http://www.the-tech-guy.co.uk)
...it has some really good rates, only downside is that you have to call up to setup an account at the moment, but im told it will all be online soon :)

Question, why is the popular voipbuster.com not in the standard list of 3cx ?
 
it is maybe an idea also a SIP trunking provider pool to do??
