When I try to update the phone firmware for the Yealink T58 phone through the updates page, it takes about 5 minutes then fails with a message saying something like "Failed to connect to 3CX Update Server." Anyone else experiencing this issue?

Need more info, Are phones provisioned on lan, remote, sbc

Can you upgrade via phone web frontend using the supported firmware https://www.3cx.com/support/phone-firmwares/
Not what I mean. I'm talking about downloading the Firmware from the 3CX updates server (the same way you would download a service pack update, or SIP trunk update etc.)

Does nslookup return the correct IP address

Do normal updates work ?

Are you blocking any ports, etc on the firewall ?

Could be an issue with 3cx servers and the firmware - unable to download

I was able to download other updates just now, as there were 4 new SIP trunk templates. So I'm thinking the issue is specifically with the T58 firmware on the 3CX update server

Would agree, issue with 3cx servers - unable to download manually from previous url

Just retried downloading from the URL, worked this time... weird.

Glad to hear the download worked. I would suspect the download timed out as the firmware for the specific phone is quite large. If you experience the issue again try replicating while running a wireshark capture so we can see the reason of the failure
