- Plug the prepared USB-C stick into the bottom port of the handset
- Hold down the red hang-up button and * at the same time to start the handset in upgrade mode. Release the buttons when it powers up and it will proceed to upgrade and reboot.
Handset OTA Firmware Upgrade (if already v1.18.4 or higher)
This method only applies to paired handsets running version v1.18.4 or higher. Please read the Handset Pairing section above to learn how to pair them before you can upgrade their firmware OTA.
- Log into your DM and navigate to Handset > Upgrade and click “Select”
- Obtain the latest handset firmware file from the manufacturer (do not rename the file!)
- Click “Upload” to load the firmware onto the base
- Confirm that the firmware now appears in the “Firmware List” with the correct version
- The handsets will automatically start to upgrade when they are connected to the charger and are idle with no active calls.
The upgrade procedure is indicated by an arrow on the handset LCD and will pause if the device is in a call or is taken off the charger. You may also confirm the upgrade from Menu > Advanced > Firmware Upgrade, using the default password 123.
According to the manufacturer, the estimated upgrade time is 3~5 hours.
