Get call details, summaries and transcripts by email.
3CX V20 Update 9 introduces a new feature for AI Agents: Send Email. This allows AI Receptionists and AI Personal Assistants to send an email with key call details when a call is blocked, screened or disconnected based on your AI Agent settings.
The email includes caller details, an AI-generated summary and the full transcript, making it easier to review what happened without checking the phone system manually.
Available with 3CX AI Edition, this feature gives users another reason to upgrade and take advantage of 3CX AI.
What the Send Email Feature Includes

The Send Email feature is designed for individual call reports. It is not a general email-sending feature. When triggered, the AI Agent sends an email containing:
- Caller details: Name and contact information where available
- Reason for call: An AI-generated summary explaining why the caller contacted you
- AI report and transcript: The AI Agent’s report together with the full call transcript for review
This gives teams a clear record of blocked, spam or difficult calls.
Use It With AI Receptionists and PA's
We have integrated this feature directly into your call routing and AI prompts for maximum flexibility. Both AI Receptionists and AI Personal Assistants include a Send Email and Disconnect option for the following scenarios:
- Blocked calls based on keywords
- Spam calls based on keywords
- Abusive or frustrated callers
- Non-responsive or non-collaborative callers
You choose which extension email address should receive the call information. This helps teams review why calls were blocked, understand caller intent and keep a record of calls that may require follow-up.
This feature works independently of whether call recording or extension-level transcription is enabled. The summary and transcript are generated directly from the interaction between the AI Agent and the AI provider model.
