3CX Enterprise Plus powerful call transcription in 8SC or 16SC.

We're thrilled to announce a new addition to our 3CX lineup: 3CX Enterprise Plus! This exciting new edition is designed to make advanced call transcription accessible and affordable, especially those with smaller installations most suited to 8SC and 16SC licenses with up to 80 users.

For too long, high-quality call transcription has been a wish-list item. We're changing that. With 3CX Enterprise Plus, from update 8 you can now leverage our robust online transcription service, delivering accurate and reliable call transcription without the need for on-premise hardware.

What Does This Mean For You?

• Cost-Effective Transcription: Our 3CX transcription service is priced at a fraction of the cost of alternatives like OpenAI, making it an incredibly economical solution.
• No Hardware Hassle: Small installations no longer need to worry about the complexity of configuring and maintaining machines with GPU processors. We handle the heavy lifting in the cloud.
• Bundled Packages: Enterprise Plus offers convenient bundled packages for 8 simultaneous call (8SC) and 16 simultaneous call (16SC) installations, including 30,000 and 60,000 minutes of transcription respectively.

Managing Your Transcription Minutes

• Voicemail Transcription: Cloud Transcription for Voicemail is NOT METERED, and effectively FREE. Voicemail transcription will not consume any of your minutes.
• Call Recordings: Only recorded calls can be transcribed. You can manage consumption by switching off call recording for extensions that do not need it; however, using per-department settings can be a more flexible way to manage consumption.
• Per-Department Settings: You can configure transcription for each department. For each department you can decide what to transcribe; you can disable recording transcription for the department even if it contains extensions that have call recording enabled.
• Per-Queue Settings: You can also configure transcription for each queue to override per-department settings.
• You Need More Minutes: If part-way during the year you realize that your minutes are not sufficient for your needs:
  • if you have an 8SC Enterprise Plus, you can upgrade to a 16SC Enterprise Plus; as a small bonus, as soon as the new license is activated, your current consumption and allocation are reset, and you will get 60,000 minutes until the expiry of the license
  • if your system needs more than 60,000 minutes, you will need to switch to a 3rd party transcription provider (such as Google or OpenAI), or deploy your own local 3CX Transcription Engine machine

Important Note on Transcription Access

With the introduction of Enterprise Plus, access to free transcription will no longer be available in other editions. However, we remain committed to providing flexible options for all our users.

For Enterprise / AI Edition Users

We understand the importance of data confidentiality and cost control. That's why users of our Enterprise / AI edition will continue to have the flexibility to run the transcription service in their own private cloud or on-premise. This option not only allows for significant cost savings but also ensures your data remains confidential and within your control, away from online services.

We believe 3CX Enterprise Plus is a game-changer, bringing enterprise-grade transcription capabilities to a wider audience. It's about empowering your business with insights from your calls, making communication more productive and efficient.

If your setup ONLY requires transcriptions for voicemails (and therefore NOT for regular calls), then you'll be pleased to know that we've left voicemail transcriptions in the Enterprise / AI edition, cost-free, without requiring private cloud or on-premise GPU equipment - you get to use the 3CX Transcription service for free for voicemails!
