The Beta 2 release of the 3CX App for Android is now available to download from the Google Play store. We’ve made further improvements to our contact matching functionality, allowing users to receive incoming calls with the full name of any CRM contact - even those not yet synced to the 3CX phonebook! Read on to discover more.
CRM Contact lookup for your incoming calls
Upon receiving an incoming call, the client will now try to match the number in your 3CX phonebook and local device contacts, as well as your CRM software of choice. We’ve also further solidified our contact matching algorithms for the 3CX phonebook and local device contacts.
Dialing numbers directly from your keypad will also provide CRM contact matches.

Based on the contact options set in the Management Console, the full screen, incoming call notification will provide you with both the caller’s identity and further information about the routing location of the call - stating both the Inbound Rule name and whether the call is coming to you via a Ring Group or Call Queue.
Other Features / Fixes
Where possible, we’ve tried to synchronize functionality with our other clients, and fixed some issues in other locations of the product, primarily in the chat listing, group presence and the recents tab.
