IOS / ANDROID - Paging & Intercom

Hi,

For some reason, when I try to page or intercom an Android/iOS device, it does not auto answer. If paging/intercomming a mobile device is not possible, please give me some other options. I can’t buy any more hardware but I need a sort of tannoy system.

A device has to support paging. I can't see why Android would. Rather than remaining registered constantly, to save battery, the Android App relies on Google Push, which simply sends a message to wake the App. It is not able to send a page, not to mention It could be quite embarrassing to receive an unexpected (loud) page in many situations, when out of the office.

You'll have to provide a bit more detail on what you are trying to achieve and perhaps someone will have solution.

Hi,

The devices stay in the office and are currently used as desk phones. I thought if someone was away it would not page to them anyway? Seems a weird fix to a simple solution so I will probably post this is the Feature Request forum.
